We have a retained search for a Regional Sales Manager for our client, a manufacturer of a wide range of engineered Building products. This is a long-established company, known as an innovator, who believes their strength goes beyond quality products but lies with their extreme focus on the customer and service. They are an agile company – big enough to be a significant player in the segment, but not so big they encumbered with a huge “corporate” culture. They also employ a significantly different sales and market strategy from their competitors, which has worked out quite will for them as evidenced by a track record of strong growth and profitability.
They have enlisted our help to fill a Regional Sales Manager role. This will head up a very tenured, successful team, covering a multi-state territory. We are looking for an experienced professional with a successful track record in technical sales and sales management. Our client has continued to move toward getting a larger percentage of sales as a result of calling on architects and getting their products “spec’ed”, so someone who has experience calling on the architectural community would be of great interest. Someone with excellent analytical and people skills who would be excited about playing a key role with a progressive, innovative, manufacturer.
