Description
We have a retained search for a Sawmill Superintendent for an operation that is just starting a “Brown-Field” project that will end up totally replacing the existing mill and more than doubling its’ current capacity-bringing it up to around 250 million bd ft. This is an established joint venture for a major North American producer and marketer of lumber and other forest products, and its partner who originally built and has operated the mill. Both companies enjoy a solid reputation in the industry.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a successful track record in lumber manufacturing. Someone with a strong, team-oriented, leadership approach that would be excited about stepping into a situation where there is a solid, existing foundation and then significantly building and further developing the culture and organization for what our client expects will be one of the top tier mills in the South.
